2006 Ningbo (China) Dongqian Lake International Dragon Boat Race

Dear Sir or Madame,
On behalf of the Chinese Dragon Boat Association, I’m pleased to inform you that the 2006 Ningbo (China) Dongqian Lake International Dragon Boat Race will be held in Dongqian Lake-a scenic spot of Ningbo City on November 2, 2006. Dongqian Lake is a natural beauty nestling among hills and green forest. And tea leaves are emitting fragrance everywhere around the Lake. Welcome all dragon boat teams here to enjoy the natural beauty.
Race schedule: arrival on October 31, 2006; training on November 1; race on November 2; departure on November 3.
Race events: open group, standard boat, 800 m straight speed; top 6 places will be selected and awarded trophies and prize; those who fail to enter the top 6 will be awarded commemorative cup and participation prize.
Reception: Free meals, accommodation and local transportation will be provided for 3 nights and 4 days for participating teams within the above-mentioned period of time. All participating teams may reach Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China by plane or train and the international or domestic traveling expenses will be borne by the participating teams themselves. The Organizing Committee will provide participating teams with free transportation between the airport (or railway station) and the official hotel.
